I love books. I love reading them, I love giving them as gifts & I love to see them sitting on a coffee table. Anthropologie always has a great book selection, yet I have found they are overpriced. I peruse the book section in Anthro and then head right over to Amazon. Here is what I have my eye on (for myself and others!) this Holiday season.



A design book from the famous Domino Magazine. This would look quite nice sitting on the bunching tables in my living room. $32.00 at Anthro, but only $21.12 at Amazon.

The Self Sufficient Bible is $34.95 at Anthro and $23.07 at Amazon, while The Illustrated Quick Cook is $35.00 at Anthro and $23.10 at Amazon. The Self Sufficient Bible is a good investment for yourself and a great hostess gift.

This book is one of my favorites. I haven't read it in a while, but this new Clothbound Penguin Classic is just too pretty to pass over. This version is at Anthropologie for $20.00 and at amazon for $13.20. i just ordered mine!



As another quick tip - I usually order used books on Amazon. They are a lot cheaper, look almost brand new, and are better for the environment.
